A Crowell Team represented Alta Resource Technologies, a climate technology company specializing in mining and mineral separations tools, successfully raised $4.5 million in its Series A funding round held on March 29, 2024. Headquartered in Boulder, CO, and led by CEO Nathan Ratledge, Alta Resource Technologies operates a platform that utilizes bio technologies to extract minerals and metals from feedstocks and other materials. Their innovative mining technology, which integrates synthetic biology (SynBio) and materials science, aims to extract critical minerals from low-cost feedstocks, helping clients meet the materials demand for the energy transition.

The Crowell team was led by Sam Edwards with support from Jonathan Camello.
