James Reed focuses his practice on patent and trade secret litigation in the heavy industry, consumer technology, and transportation markets. Leveraging his experience prosecuting automotive and electro-mechanical patents and his background in physics and structural engineering, James is quickly able to become familiar with the technology and legal issues that arise during the course of litigation.
Prior to practicing law, James worked as a structural project engineer for a Maryland based company during which he designed and implemented temporary vehicle bridges for public and private entities. James also has experience with the design and construction of industrial power facilities.
