Crowell Represents Antares Industries in Seed Financing

Crowell & Moring client Antares Industries recently closed $8 million in new funding from Caffeinated Capital, Susa Ventures / Humba Ventures, Pathbreaker Ventures, Rogue, Shrug Capital, Uncommon Capital and many more. Antares is developing nuclear microreactors as a high power density clean energy source that can untether the military from the burden of fossil fuel supply chains and power next-generation defense technologies. While the military will be the first adopter of the microreactors, Antares intends on further scaling of the technology for purpose-built solutions that solve key stakeholder pain points in austere environments, terrestrially, and in space. Long term, Antares’ vision is to make energy abundant from Earth to the Asteroid Belt.

Antares was founded by Jordan Bramble and Julia DeWahl and the team hails from SpaceX, MIT, Rigetti Computing, and the Air Force.  The Crowell team was led by Jon O’Connell with support from Justin Lurie, Jonathan Camello, and Jason Nahm.
